RECREATION AND PARK ASSOCIATION -, The general consensus among park officials regarding dog park rules is to 'keep them as simple as possible. Unless thE' Dog Park wants to pay an attendant to monitor park activities, simplicity is the easiest avenue to ensure that rules are followed. Generally, peer influence between dog owners is enough to enforce park rules. Parks on the smaller side tend to have the most success in rule enforcement since the dog owners are all within view of one another's actions. The following are a set of rules, universal to most existing dog parks. . Dog feces must be cleaned up by owners. . Dog owners must be in the park and within view of their dogs. . Fill any hole your dog digs (it may be helpful to provide a shovel on the grounds for this purpose). . Aggressive dogs are not permitted on the premises. . Dogs should be under voice control (I.e.
