Dear Mr. Stevenson:
Thank you for the opportunity to meet with City Commissioners and residents at last night's
public meeting.
Seminole County is requesting a continuance for the consideration of the comprehensive plan
amendment currently scheduled to be heard before the City of Winter Springs LP A on
Wednesday October 4, 2006.
In addition, Seminole County would like to formally request a continuance to an unspecified
date for the discussion of the conditional use in the C-l zoning district. It is our
understanding after last night's discussion that the City is considering a global amendment to the
City of Winter Springs land development code to allow parks in the C-l and PUD zoning
districts. This global amendment concept is tentatively scheduled to be discussed before the
City Commission on October 9,2006.
On behalf of Seminole County and PBS&J. we appreciate the opportunity to meet with the City
of Winter Springs and its residents to discuss the Jetta Point Park project and look forward to
working with you and your staff on this park project.
