1. New pine trees in all median; clorotic situation getting much worse.
2. First grouping of Oleanders path entrance looking dead, please report and communicate with
Greenfields.
3. When traveling from entrance median just before Foxglen, drive pine tree dug up one with stake
in it. Pittosporum on one side looking chlorotic.
4. All Liriope along median looking wilted. Possible water situation?
5. Clean out sycamore leaves on ground covers; when heading from entrance just before northern
way.
6. Two existing oak trees; driving from entrance before Woodduck, trees look in decline.

8. Still have drainage problems at the intersection of Seneca and Winter Springs blvd secondary
entrance planter on south side of the road.
9. When traveling from Seneca to entrance on north side of the road just before Little Sparrow
Drive, couple roads down from Seneca, Pine trees looking chlorotic.
10 Traveling from Seneca to the main entrance in the middle of the median before you get to
Davenport, existing large Sycamore -central leader has decay and broken off at top. Five (5)
feet of canopy out of top of tree.
11 Shetland & Citrus entry: On East side, five (5) plants missing from base of sign wall planter.
Weeds in jasmine groundcover beds. West side wash out condition still exists under sign wall
near wall planter /Oleander area.
12 Shetland & Citrus entry Crinums showing cold damage, add colorful perennials to bottom of
crinum beds and remove any brown leaves.

Requested by Maureen from Ground Effects: Shut off all irrigation along winter springs blvd
KAV called Mike Goodall to put in request on January 10th, and waiting to hear back from Mike.
1/10/03 -Alan: Ground Effects to shut off each median with valve.

Main entrance Crinum Lilies and dwarf Azaleas starting to show signs of sunscald.
Do not park trucks on turf along the right of way at the entrance.
Please schedule pruning back sagos to the ground at the end of March to facilitate the removal of the
scale infestation.
Place stakes at first pine tree at median #1. Pine tree is leaning
2"d grouping of pine trees at median #1 - 2 tall existing pine trees looking chloritic probably due to
construction damage compaction.
Pick up twigs 2"d grouping of existing oak trees at median #1 directly across the street from 1110 winter
springs blvd. (located on the north side of winter springs blvd.).
Second grouping of pine trees just after 1111 winter springs blvd this address is on the south side of the
road. Just beyond that pine trees have tip die-back and look in decline. This is probably due to
compaction during construction.
Median # 2
Remove twigs and leaves from Jasmine groundcover area and remove azaleas that are completely
dead.

Directly across from 1211 winter springs blvd, on south side of road investigate coonties there are
several fronds that are brown, investigate and report
Remove cigarette buts from Crinums in this area also.
Brown spots in turf before you get to cold drive, the two turf area before northern way

Liriope leaf edges turning yellow please check-watering time.
Report back in general regarding watering times /plant material health.

Brown spots in turf on south side of median below 1St grouping of palm trees. Investigate and report

Just past Arrowhead entrance liriope at encamp some strands looking yellow.
On south side of median remove dead azaleas
Azalea grouping just before Tosca Oaks entrance heading west azalea in decline
General notes new pine tree looking a little yellow. Consult with Mike Mingia
Front entrance fountains observed shut off maintenance personnel on site
South side main entrance 1 dead azaleas
North and south side of entrance all tree ties to be removed
South side entrance azaleas on back side of berm in decline many look like they are wilting
South side entrance back of berm: south side 26 dead azaleas due to moisture problem 3 others in
decline
South side of entrance furthest to south: 32 dead azaleas, 3 dead Ligustrum trees
Spread mulch at drainage grate at fare south side of main entrance
1 dead Red Ruffle azalea south side of entrance fountain planter
South side planter at entrance: There are still 2 dead azalea pulled out of the ground adjacent to the
fountain and this request was given verbally and in writing and they are still remaining
Median # 23 annual needs water
Vistawilla entrance: remove yellowing and brown leaves `off crinum lilies in entrance planters

1. Submit report on Azalea. problem at main entrance.
2. Ligustrum sucker shoot pruning only ~/z done at this point.
3. Limb up two ligustrums (previous note).
4. Tuscora median: Irrigation head drive over problem repair completed?
5. Remove all dead shrubs within all medians
6. Replace stakes at leaning Pine near Colt Drive -Remove if Pine is dead.
7. Sight line trimming of Pittosporum (to 2'-6") at Tuscora/Vllinter Springs Blvd. intersection; Country

1. Insect and weed conditions are not acceptable. Higher level of concentration and attention to detail
required. Reports must be verbal or in writing every time crew is on site.

4. KAV took cuttings of declining Azaleas to the Seminole County Extension Service on 10/10/02.
Diagnosis by two separate individuals states that there'~is a root problem. Girlding roots which
stressed the plants. Additional water causing a pathogen situation. Discussed with Bob on 10/21/02.
5. Coordinate recovery of Sago Tea Scale problems /Azalea decline problems with Greenfields.

2. Prepare detail irrigation schedule for each median including putting tap on certain spray head for
drought color material while still spraying other plant material. Coordinate this issue with KAV as
soon as possible.
3. Hand pull weeds for 5 or ten minutes each mowing at each median to keep up and avoid spraying
and brown weeds.
4. Bob: Will be checking off last month's summary notes with dates and completion and turning it in
to KAV.
