Mr. Steven Richart, Urban Beautification Division Services Manager, Community Development Department presented this Agenda Item. Discussion. REGULAR 301. Community Development Department - Urban Beautification Services Division Maintenance Items And Progress Report. ..- I ~ Discussion. ~==- --C ~ ~ c:::: -=:::: ~ '== REGULAR 302. Community Development Department - Urban Beautification Services Division Update On Street Lighting And Decorative Sign Project. Mr. Richart introduced this Agenda Item and stated, "I have included in your packet a flyer that was put out. It is basically an informational to let people know that we are going to be working in the right-of-way." Mr. Richart added, "If you see any revisions that need to be made to this flyer, I would like to use this format for every section that we do. If you see something that you would like to add to it for the next section, please do tell me." Tape I/Side B Discussion. Committee Member Brantley Tillis inquired about Mr. Mervin Warner who came to a previous Meeting and was requesting that something be done in his area. Mr. Richart added, "But I have not heard from him since. Maybe I need to call him and meet over there to see what we need to do." Mr. Richart mentioned next that the "THOA (Tuscawilla Homeowner's Association) is requesting the flagpoles at the entrances. We are still waiting on Anthony's [Garganese, City Attorney] Opinion Letter as to the feasibility of that happening. As soon as I know that, we will move forward. I do not see any reason why the THOA (Tuscawilla Homeowner's Association) could not come in and apply for a Permit with the City to install those flagpoles right now." Discussion. Office Of The City Clerk Approval Of The February 15, 2006 Regular Meeting Minutes. "I MAKE A MOTION TO APPROVE THE MINUTES AS WRITTEN FOR FEBRUARY 15, 2006." MOTION BY CHAIRMAN THOMPSON. SECONDED BY COMMITTEE MEMBER TILLIS. DISCUSSION. WITH CONSENSUS OF THE ADVISORY COMMITTEE, THE MOTION WAS APPROVED. REPORTS All Advisory Committee Members thanked Committee Member Gary Hillery and thanked him for his years of service. Committee Member Edward Martinez stated, "Regarding the THOA (Tuscawilla Home Owners Association) Bash, it is going to be April 23rd at Trotwood Park. It is from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Members are free. Non-members will have to pay a fee of ten dollars ($10.00) and five dollars ($5.00) for children. It is going to be a great event. We are going to try to keep it as informal as possible and try to give you a family setting." Regarding a celebration on Friday, May 26, 2006 for Committee Member Hillery, Committee Member Martinez said, "On another issue, we have a flyer going out, which I will give to the Chairman [Thompson] in case somebody else is interested. We are trying to get all of Gary's [Hillery] friends to join us in a celebration honoring Mr. Gary Hillery." Committee Member Martinez read the flyer into the record. Mr. Richart stated, "We have Arbor Day on the 29th of this month [April] on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Winter Springs Town Center. We expect to give away 500 to 600 trees.
