CITY COMMISSION
ATTORNEY-CLIENT SESSION
JULY 12, 2004
CALL TO ORDER
The Attorney-Client Session of Monday, July 12, 2004 of the City Commission was
called to order by Deputy Mayor Robert S. Miller at 5:05 p.m. in the Commission
Chambers of the Municipal Building (City Hall, 1126 East State Road 434, Winter
Springs, Florida 32708).
ROLL CALL:
Mayor John F. Bush, absent
Deputy Mayor Robert S. Miller, Jr., present
Commissioner Michael S. Blake, present
Commissioner Donald A. Gilmore, present
Commissioner Sally McGinnis, present
Commissioner David W. McLeod, present
City Manager Ronald W. McLemore, present
City Attorney Anthony A. Garganese, present
Deputy Mayor Miller noted that the City Attorney will be seeking the advice of the City
Commission regarding Settlement Negotiations and Strategy related to Litigation
Expenditures concerning the pending Litigation titled "Simmons v. City of Winter
Springs" - Case No.: 03-499-CA-II-W."
The Attorney-Client Session was estimated to last approximately thirty (30) minutes.
The following individuals noted to be in attendance were Mayor John F. Bush, Deputy
Mayor Robert S. Miller, Commissioner Michael S. Blake, Commissioner Donald A.
Gilmore, Commissioner Sally McGinnis, Commissioner David W. McLeod, City
Manager Ronald W. McLemore, City Attorney Anthony A. Garganese, Michael Roper,
Esquire, and a Court Reporter.
ATTORNEY-CLIENT SESSION
Pursuant To Section 286.011(8), Florida Statutes, The City Attorney Will Be
Seeking The Advice Of The City Commission Regarding Settlement Negotiations
And Strategy Related To Litigation Expenditures Concerning The Pending
Litigation Titled "Simmons v. City of Winter Springs" - Case No.: 03-499-CA-ll-
W.

Deputy Mayor Miller then adjourned to the "Closed Session." All individuals who were
to attend the "Closed Session" left the Commission Chambers.
The "Closed Session" then commenced regarding "Simmons v. City of Winter Springs"-
Case No.: 03-499-CA-ll- W.
At the termination of the "Closed Session", Deputy Mayor Miller re-opened the meeting
to the public at approximately 5:40 p.m.
ADJOURNMENT
The Attorney-Client Session was adjourned by Deputy Mayor Miller at approximately
5:41 p.m.
