BID OPENING
FOR WELL ABANDONMENT
MAY 22, 1991
The Bid Opening for the Well Abandonment was called to order by City Manager Richard
Rozansky at 2:18 p.m.
Present:

Seven Bids were received for the Well Abandonment as follows:
First Bid opened was from Meredith Environmental Services, Inc., P. O. Box 585648,
Orlando, FL 32858-5648. Total Bid - $3,990.00
Second Bid opened was from Layne-Atlantic Co., P.O. Box 555789,
Orlando, FL 32855-5789. Total Bid - $4,330.00
Third Bid opened was from CenTech Utility Corp., 6109 Orient Road, Tampa, FL 33610
Total Bid - $12,140.00
Fourth Bid opened was from Carbec Construction Co., Inc., 5353 W. South Street,
Orlando, FL 32811. Total Bid - $5,465.00
Fifth Bid opened was' from Diversified Drilling Corp., P. O. Box 290699, Tampa,
FL 33687-0699. Total Bid - $7,990.00
Sixth Bid opened was from Meridith Corporation, 2911 W. Washington St.,
Orlando, FL 32805. Total Bid - $6,780.00
Seventh Bid opened was from Water Services Inc., dba Ellis Well Drilling, 7008
Forest City Road., Orlando, FL 32810. Total Bid -$4,420.00
The Bids will be turned over to the Consulting Engineer for a recommendation to
the City Manager.
Bid Opening was closed at 2:30 p.m.

FOR THE PURCHASE OF THREE (3) LIFT STATION ELECTRICAL CONTROL PANELS
WEDNESDAY, MAY 22, 1991
The Bid Opening for the purchase of three lift station electrical control panels was
called to order by City Manager Richard Rozansky at 2:32 p. m.

Three Bids were received as follows:
First Bid opened was from Consolidated Electric, 141 S. Lafayette Freeway, St. Paul,
MN 55107-1420. Total Bid - $10,687.00
Second Bid opened was from Thompson Electric Co., P. O. Box 1478, Winter Park,
FL 32790. Total Bid - $22,200.00
Third Bid opened was from Electric Specialty Inc., 1240 W. Landstreet Road,
Orlando, FL 32824. Total Bid - $6,195.00
The Bids will be turned over to the Utilities Director for a recommendation to
the City Manager.
Bid opening was closed at 2:40 p. m.
