CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA 1126 STATE ROAD 434 WINTER SPRINGS, FLORIDA 32708 Telephone (305) 327-1800 MEMORANDUM TO: CITY MANAGER __d/ ~ FROM: CITY ENGINEER~ SUBJECT: Meeting with Mt. Greenwood, Pecolation Ponds, Tract 13 A meeting was held with representatives of the Mt. Greenwood development (Amerifirst), Mr. Stephen Bailey P.E., Commonwealth Engineering and members of the City staff .on March 25, 1986. . The discussion evolved around citizen complaints concerning the construction of effluent percolation ponds at the south end of the Mt. Greenwood property (Florida Power Corp. easement and Bahama Road). The citizens were concerned that the ponds were not being constructed in the proper location and that there would not be a green buffer zone. The engineering plans were reviewed in the meeting and construction of the percolation ponds was found to be in accordance with the engineering and the location as approved by the City Commission. It was agreed that the Mt. Greenwood representation would move the eastern fence twenty-five (25) feet to the west of the eastern boundary of the Mt. Greenwood property. Next it was agreed that the perimeter along Bahama Road and the effluent disposal area would be provided with some kind of landscaping to act as an esthetic barrier, and lastly, the developer would attempt to retain and preserve as many trees as possible. The consulting engineer agreed to provide revised engineering drawings regarding the above comments. cc: Public Works, City Planner City Police Chief WJ. .' ff;1@ ~ lliW ~~ mJl 1.f.~L5J ~~ L~ir: :,;~' ~cC .
