BID OPENINGS
WEDNESDAY, JULY 13, 1988
The Bid openings were called to order by City Manager Richard Rozansky at 2:30 p.m.
The first Bid opening was for the purchase of 79 sprinklers and riser supports for
an eight acre effluent irrigation system.
Two Bids were received as follows:
Atlantic Irrigation, 1108 Ridgewood Ave., Holly Hill, FL 32017, in the amount of $1,287.70.
Home and Commercial Irrigation, Inc., 2625 W. Fairbanks Ave., Winter Park,
FL 32789, in the amount of $1,481.25.
The second Bid opening was for the purchase of materials, i.e. p.v.c. pipe, valves,
fittings for the construction of an eight acre spray irrigation site.
Nine Bids were received as follows:
1. Hughes Supply, Inc., P.O. Box l5038-B, Or1.,FL 32858, in the amount of $14,415.20.
'2. Trans-Florida Supply Co., P.O. Box 5249, Pompano Bch.,FL 33074, in the amount of
$13,977.22.
3. Home and Commercial Irrigation,Inc., 2625 W.Fairbanks Ave., W.Park,FL 32789, in the
amount of $14,003.41.
4. Atlantic Irrigation, 1108 Ridgewood AVe.,Holly Hil1,FL 32017, PARTIAL BID in the
amount of $1,871.83.
5. Davis Meter & Supply Div., 3333 Old Winter Garden Road, Orlando, FL 32805, in the
amount of $13,601.16.
6. Southeastern Municipal Supply, 310 Lyman Road, Casselberry, FL 32707, in the
amount of $13,461.86.
7. B&H Sales, 11124 Satellite Blvd., Orl.,FL 32821, in the amount of $13,387.83.
_8. Ferguson Underground,Inc., 801 Thorpe Road,Or1.,FL 32824, in the amount of
$13,053.30.
,9. Florida Irrigation Supp1y,Inc., 2400 Paseo St.,P.O.Box 453,Orl.,FL 32802, in the
amount of $15,939.56.
The bids will be turned over to Utilities Manager Doug Taylor for a recommendation
to the City Manager.
Bid Opening was closed at 2:50 p. m.
