Springs Code of Ordinances, the approved plans for the above referenced will
became null and void on January 26, 1988. This is the anniversary date (one
(1) year) of Commission approval.
TIle Code also allows one to petition the Commission for a twelve (12)
month extension, providing good cause can be shown.
A copy of Section 44.85.11 is enclosed for your review. Please contact me

The first Bid Opening was for the tractor powered, saddle mounted, articulated
boom grass mower.

Engineer Phil Hursch
City Clerk Mary Norton
The Bid Opening was called to order by City Clerk Mary Norton.
Three Bids were received for the side mount mower as follows:
First Bid opened was from Fields Equipment Co., Inc. Rt. 2, Box 149,
North Hwy. 27, Clermont, Florida 32711, in the amount of $12,191.00.
Second Bid opened was from Future Horizons, Inc., 5051 North Lane, Suite 22,
Orlando, Florida 32808 in the amount of $12,845.00.
Third Bid opened was from Volusia Ford Tractor Co., Inc. 1400 International
Speedway Blvd., DeLand, FL 32724 in the amount of $11,390.00.
The Bids will be turned over to the Public Works Director for a recommendation
to the City Manager. The City Manager will make a recommendation to the
City Commission on Feb. 8, 1988.
The second Bid Opening was for the resurfacing of certain designated city streets.
Three Bids were received as follows:
The first bid opened was from Orlando Paving Co., P.O. Box 547186, Orlando,
FL. Price per square yard is $2.28; adjust 21 manholes @$115.00 and
adjust rectangular stormwater catch basins @$230.00; Total Bid $55,950.56.
Second Bid opened was from Martin Paving Co., P.O. Box 2169, Daytona Beach, FL
32015-2169. Price per square yard $1.93; adjust 21 manholes @70.00 and adjust
rectangular stormwater catch basins @$100.00; Total Bid $46,408.61.
Third Bid opened was from Macasphalt, P.O. Box 1819, Winter Haven, FL 33882-1819.
Price per square yard is $1.95; adjust 21 manholes @95.00; adjust rectangular
stormwater catch basins @10.00; Total Bid $47,035.15.
The Bids will be turned over to the City Engineer for a recommendation to the
City Manager.
