The City Engineer approved this project on November 6, 1987 and the Staff Review Board met on November 17, 1987 and had no objection to the project. See attached City Engineer letter and Staff Review comments. This project has 22 lots, single-family, detached housing. /mh cc: Mayor Camnission -. November 17, 1987 TO: City Manager Land Development coordinato~ FROM: RE: staff Review, Highland Village One The above referenced was held on November 17, 1987. Al Land and Alex Halberstadt represented the project. Staff members present were Artman, Holzman, Koch, Kozlov, LeBlanc, Smith, and Taylor. Kitty Degrenia and Jim Couger from the Highlands were also present. The Staff had no objection to this project. - The plans call for Highland Village Way to exit on Sheoah Boulevard. The Highlands would like to have an island at this location. Questions arising are liability because part of this island would be in the Sheoah right-of-way, who would maintain this island as it would be in a public roadway and visibility with regard to safety. Because of these questions, the Commission would have to approve the island concept. If the Commission allows the island it would necessitate reengineering the inter- section, resurveying and redoing the plat. The Staff agreed that only the City Engineer and the Police Chief would review this change. The plat and supporting documentation are in order. There is a performance letter of credit in the amount of $50,000 which is sufficient. The letter of credit expires May 9, 1988. Halberstadt is getting a letter from the bank stating that this bond will be automatically extended if the work is not accepted by May 9, 1988. /mh cc: Staff -, ~. ~,.:'J,.':'-""~ ~(~~ \:~.
