The Bid Opening was called to order by City Manager Richard Rozansky at 2:00 p. m. Present: City Manager Richard Rozansky Charles Jensen, Conklin, Porter & Holmes City Engineer Leonard Kozlov Land Development Coordinator Don LeBlanc City Clerk Mary Norton The Bid Opening was advertised in the Sentinel on June 6, 1987. Five Bids were received and opened as follows: 1. The Hardaway Co., P.O. Box 290817, Tampa, FL 33687 Base Bid 433,500.00 Additional 100,000.00 Total 533,500.00 2. Water Processing Co., 11651 Phillips Hwy., Jacksonville, FL 32224 Base Bid 444,900.00 Additional N/A 3. C.E.M. Enterprises Inc., dba Sunshine Painting, 2475 Clark St., Apopka, FL 32703 Base Bid 541,000.00 Additional 79,000.00 Total 620,000.00 4. Sunshine Building and Development Corp., P.O. Box 958, Casselberry, FL 32707 Base Bid 506,700.00 Additional 100,000.00 Total 606,700.00 (Includes 2~% Sales Tax) 5. Florida Aquastore and Utility Construction,Inc., 4720 N.W. 2nd Ave., Boca Raton, FL 33431 Base Bid Additional Total 451,511.00 * -- 451,511.00 2 Options: used generator, 45,500; refurbished generator, not to exceed $81,500.00 The Bids will be turned over to the Consulting Engineer for review and recommendation to the City Manager. Artman/Public Works Director~~ (/ SUBJECT: Pick-Up Truck Bids It is recommended, we accept Don Reid Fords bid on two (2) F-150 Pick-lip Trucks at $9996.00 each with an additional $75.00 fnr a step up bumper. Thic; would come tn a tntal of $20,142.00. However, we currently have $18,149.73 for equipment purchase, this leaves a deficit of $1992.27.
