Miller to reclassify property to Commercial Land Use - 17 acres on west side of SR 434 across from City Hall. Deputy Mayor William Jacobs recessed the Commission Meeting and opened the Public Hearing on requests for amendments to the Comprehensive Plan. The City Planner, Jacqueline Koch, explained this is the first of two allowed sets of amendments to the Comprehensive Plan annually, which affects anything over three acres Commercial and five acres Residential. Each request was discussed separately. Larry Dunn, Longwood, spoke for Items b spoke for item e. Deputy Mayor William reconvened the Commission Meeting. No one spoke against any request. Mr. and c. Mr. Miller, Altamonte Springs, Jacobs closed the public hearing and Motion was made by Commissioner Kulbes that the requests (Items a,b,c,d,and e) are consistent with the Comprehensive Plan and therefore that advice of the City's intent to so classify the property be transmitted to the Department of Community Affairs for its review. Seconded by Commissioner Hoffmann. Discussion. Vote on the motion: Commissioner Hoffmann, aye; Commissioner Kulbes, aye; Commissioner Trencher, aye; Co~issioner Kaehler, aye; motion carried. Second Reading: Attorney Kruppenbacher read Ord. No. 372 by title only on second reading. Deputy Mayor William Jacobs recessed the Commission Meeting and opened the public hearing. No one spoke for or against the ordinance. Deputy Mayor Jacobs closed the public hearing and reconvened the Commission Meeting. Motion was made by Commissioner Trencher to adopt Ord. No. 372 on second reading. Seconded by Commissioner Hoffmann. Discussion. Vote on the motion: Commissioner Kulbes, aye; Commissioner Trencher, aye; Commissioner Kaehler, aye; Commissioner Hoffmann, aye; motion carried. Attorney Kruppenbacher gave a brief report on the lawsuit with the Gas Company.
