BID OPENING
FEBRUARY 28, 1985
RADIO TRANSMISSION TOWER AND CLOSED CIRCUIT TV/SECURITY SYSTEM
FOR THE NEI-J MUNICIPAL COHPLEX
The Bid Opening was called to order by Hayor John V. Torcaso at 2:30 p. m.
Present:
Mayor John V. Torcaso
Chief of Police John Govoruhk
Keith Sorrells, United TeleSentinel
Bob Allen, Sentry Alarm Systems
City Manager's secretary Pam Lawrenz
Four bids were received for the security system and were opened by Mayor Torcaso
as follows:
First Bid opened was from Sentry Alarm Systems, 549 Virginia Ave., Winter Park, Fl.
in the amount of $6,845.00.
Second Bid opened was from United TeleSentinel, 803 S. Orlando Ave., Winter Park, Fl.
in the amount of $8,540.00.
Third Bid opened was from ADT Security Systems, 727 West Smith St., Orlando, Fl.
in the amount of $5,278.00.
Fourth Bid opened was from Alarm Data Corporation, 1843 S.R. 434, Longwood, Fl.
in the amount of $8,850.00.
One Bid was received for the Radio Transmission Tower from Case Towers Service,
Inc. 6935 Old Cheney Highway, Orlando, Fl. 32807 in the amount of $22,250.00.
The bids will be turned over to the Police Chief for a recommendation to the
City Manager.
Bid Opening was closed.
