WORKSHOP MEETING
CITY COMMISSION
CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS
APRIL 17, 1984
The Workshop meeting was called to order by Mayor John V. Torcaso.

Preliminary Development Plan (Existing Tuscawilla P.U.D.), Tuscawilla/Unit 14,
Winter Springs Development Corp.: _
City Planner Elwell discussed his report, Review/Analysis of Applicant's Traffic
Survey, dated April 17, 1984. Charles True, engineer for Winter Springs Development
Corporation spoke in reference to the report also. He said they are here tonight
to get Section 14 approved and to build that portion of the road.
Jack Shuder of the Seminole County Expressway Authority spoke about the action of
the Orange County Expressway Authority saying Dean Road will be the entry point into
Seminole County. He said it is very important that the Authority define the alignment
because of all the development in that area.
There was discussion on whether or not traffic would increase on Winter Springs
Boulevard if the extension of Winter Springs Boulevard was not opened up to Oviedo,
and where the interchange for the Expressway is going to be located.
There was discussion in reference to some problems on Winter Springs Boulevard. Mr.
True said if it is their problem they will fix it.
Tuscawilla/Unit 14 will be on the agenda for the next Commission Meeting on April 24,
1984.
Meeting was adjourned 8:35 p. m.
