~ aye; Councilman Ash, aye; Councilman Sabatini, aye; motion carried.
The City Attorney was asked to gather all necessary information on how this
assessment can be done and to develop some preliminary approaches that he can present
to the Council in response to any questions such as "what is the extent of the
assessment allowed by law in dealing with drainage, etc."
There was discussion again of in-house bookkeeping. Councilmen are in favor of doing
the bookkeeping in-house but they asked for more quotations. This will be discussed
next Monday night.
There was discussion of the two firemen that the state will not certify because of
vision problems. Councilman Daniels asked Attorney Massey to see if their continued
employment places our state revenue sharing funds in jeopardy and Mayor Piland asked
Attorney Massey to look into the state statutes regarding this matter.
Meeting was adjourned.
Respectfully submitted,
