Hr. Freeman read the second reading of Ordinanee No. 96 by title only.

In discussion of Ordinance No. 97, Council agreed to del.te the part of S.ction
3, Page 2, starting "who are the subje.t, etc." Should be aaended to read:
the office of the elected public official or officials eo aresUbjeet to the
recall petition, shall remain in office and participate in full capacity until
the results of the special election are known.
Hotion was macle by Councilman Booth to set up a public hearing for Ordinance
No. 97 as amended, as soon as possible. Seconded by Councilman Outlaw.

Mr. Reid Thomas, resident of the Ranchlands, complained of the bad condition
of WUliams Road, and the other roads due to the trucks working on the pit
operat.ion. This operation was given six 1IlO1lths frOll the date of starting to
be completed. Other residents complained of the trash that has been dumped
in the Jlanchlands. There were also complaints of the school buses being
unable to get through.
CouncU_n Van lepoelreported a wiring problem at Hacienda VUlage; and Mr.
Bradshaw will be notified to check on this _tter.
Mr. Freeman read Resolution No. 120.
Motion was made by Councilman Booth to pass and adopt Resolution No. 120 for
the DrusAction C~ittee. Seconded by Councilman Van lepoel. Discussion.

Motion was _de by Councilman Hunter that the interim plan for the fire
station and city ball cOlBplex be stipulated to be placed on the south end of
the property at the corner of Moss and First Street. Seconeled by Councilman
Booth. Discussion. Vote on the motion: Councilman Hunter, aye; Councilman
Outlaw. aye; Councilman Booth, aye; Councilman Van lepoel, no; Councilman
Browning, aye; motion Garried.
Motion was made by Councilman Booth that the Code of Ordinances be sold for
$25.00 and the ordinances with a hard bound CCWer be sold for $50.00.
Seconded by Councilman Hunter. DiscussiOn. Vote on the motion: Councilman
Hunter, aye; Councilman OUtlaw, aye; Councilman Booth, aye; Councilman
Van lepoel, yes; Councilman Browning, aye; DlOtion carried.
Motion was made by Councilman Outlaw to set up an ordinance to traufer $4,860
plus~ $299.50 to be transferred from the General Fund, Office Dept., Re.ene
for Contingencies to the Road & Bri.e Dept. Secondea by Councilman Huntar.

The Court Clerk will be paid from the Salaries Account of the Office Depart-
ment of the General Fund.
Motion was macle by Councilman Booth to transfer $500 from Hhcellaneous
Account of the Police Department to the Uniform Account of the 'olice
Department. Seconded by eouncilman Van l.poe1. Discussion. Vote on the motion:

Councilman Booth read the letter notifying Council that Patrolman Hey will
be attending Homicide Investigation School.

lda.-on Avenue. Seconded by Councilman Booth. Discussiolh Vote on the motion:

A Workshop Session was set for next Monday, April 1, to be held at 7 p. a.
to 8 p. a.; then the Regular Session will follow.

Van lepoel. Motion carried.
