REGULAR SESSION
CITY COUNCIL
CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS
JULY 11, 1973
The Regular Session of the City Council of the City of Winter Springs,
Florida was called to order by Vice Mayor Troy Piland at 7:30 p.m. A
pledge of allegiance to the flag was led by Councilman Jordan.
Roll Call:
Mayor Granville Brown, absent
Vice~ayor Troy Piland, present
Attorney Thomas Freeman, present
Councilmen:
Victor Miller, present
John Booth, present
Vicki Baker, absent
Cliff Jordan, present
Motion was made by Councilman Jordan to approve the minutes of June 21, 1973.
Seconded by Councilman Miller. Discussion. Vote on the motion: Councilman
Miller, aye; Councilman Booth, aye; Councilman Jordan, aye, motion carried.

Motion was made by Councilman Miller to the minutes of the July 2, 1973
workshop. Seconded by Councilman Booth. Vote on the motion. Councilman
Miller, aye; Councilman Booth, aye, Councilman Jordan, no; motion not
carried.

Motion was made by Councilman Miller to wait one week for Monthly Reports.
Councilman Booth seconded. Vote on the motion: Councilman Miller, aye;
Councilman Booth, aye; Councilman Jordan, aye: motion Carried.
Motion was made by Councilman Miller that the City of Winter Springs enter
into contract negotiations with the Orlando Architectural firm of Fugleberg
Koch to design a municipal complex. Seconded by Councilman Jordan.
Discussion. Vote on the motion: Councilman Miller, aye; Councilman Booth,
aye; Councilman Jordan, aye; motion carried.
Motion was made by Councilman Miller to return the lighting plans of Winter
Springs Boulevard to the Planning and Zoning Board for review. Seconded by
Councilman Booth. Discussion. Vote on the motion: Councilman Miller, aye;
Councilman Booth, aye; Councilman Jordan, aye; motion carried.
Motion was made to table the Approval of Platt for Wildwood until the
Planning and Zoning Board can review it. Vote on the motion: Councilman
Miller, aye; Councilman Booth, aye; Councilman Jordan, aye; motion carried.
Motion was made by Councilman Miller to ajourn. Seconded by Councilman
Booth. Motion carried.
