AUGUST 28, 1972
The tlorkshop Session of the City Council of the City of 'linter Springs was
called to order by Mayor Granville Brown at 7:35 p. m. A pledge of allegiance
to the flag was led by Councilman Miller.

Mr. Seymour Benson spoke on annexation procedures for cities, and presented
Councilmen with guidelines for zoning requests.
1�1r. L& 11rs. Cronk ?were present to discuss their lake project. The question was
raised if the restrictive covenants allow for a lake; this is to be checked on.
Councilman 11iller recommended the Cronk's get together -Tith Mr. Conklin, City
Engineer, and answer questions he may have.
`'he utility franchise from Seminole Utilities is to be looked over by the Council
and come up for more discussion on September 13th Tlorkshop Session.
David Farr's recommendation regarding the Silver annexation was discussed. This
is to be returned to the Bonin; Board for reconsideration.
Council reviewed the applicants for assistant city clerk. The decision is to be
left up to the 111ayor and Clerk.
1"1r. Palmer, Building Inspector, will be going on vacation in September. 'lwo
applications are on file for assistant buildin inspector; they are Vr. Byers of
Casselberry and r1r. Ferguson. 1"ir. Palmer stated he' - prefer °'sr. Ferguson be
hired as part time building inspector. Discussion of salary will be held September
llth, _Regular Session.
There are problems with the fire hydrants at David & Sherry Streets, Devon and Sr
434 and Ed-emon and 'I"hird Streets. They were leaking so they have been turned off.
Coz'nissioner P�Iand discussed Mr. Jeffrey Danjou's application for patrolman for the
City. 1.1r. 1,liller said the City should advertise for a patrolman.
Councilman Piland made a motion to adjourn the meeting.
