,The Workshop Session of the Village Council of the
Village of North Orlando was called to order by Mayor Brown
at 704 O.m. A pledge of allegiance to the flag was led by
Councilman Pox.

Mr. Warren Williams said a few changes have been made in the
sight plans for the apartments because it was found 'that toox
many of the beautiful trees would be destroyed if they did not
make these changes. Nothing else had been bhanged; they are
merely changing the location to conform to the topography that
is already there.
There were no objections from the Council. This will be brought
up at the next meeting for a vote.

Casselberry proposed changing the by-laws back in Jsmary. Their
funding proposal was that Casselberry pay $60185.00, Altamonte
springs pay $6,781.00, Longwood $3,9497400 and North Orlando $3,534,00.
Casselberry pay 31%, Altamonte 34$# Longwood 17% and North Orlando 18%.
This was not agreed with. Mayor Kea Brewer of Longwood came up with
Plan A and B for funding CALNO to keep Casselberry a member.
Plan At each town pay :1#500
1,000 memmbership dues and Casselberry and
Altamonte Springs pay each. 'Longwood $1,000 and North
Orlando $2002 special aasesment for this year. Total $88200.00.
Plan B: each town pay 500 membership dues and Casselberry and
Altamonte Springs pay 2,000 each, Longwood $1,500 and forth Orlando
$700 in special assesments. Total $8, 200.
Mayor Swofford offered an alternate plan: North Orlando pay $102000
Longwood $2,500, and Altamonte Springs the balance.
Councilman Fox said we should allow the Mayor to go ahead and use
his judgaent in regard to the funding, and Councilman seconded this.

The Seminole Advisory Council for the Aged has received a
• $20,000 grant. There will be a meeting April 27th at Seminole
junior College to discuss how these funds will be utilized.
All the Council is invited.
Mayor Brown said we have no rules of operation, no codes of
conduct, no uniform application blank, and suggested that the
Council should cane up with some ideas. This will be discussed
again at our neat Workshop Session, May 8, 1972.
A letter has been received from Roy H. Liddicott, who was one
of the original founders of North Orlando. He is asking for a
zoning change on his 18.319 acres to 8-3 Multiple Family Dwellings.
This is to be turned over to the Zoning Board.
The new police car is in and will be picked up tomorrow. Mr.
Bachelor gave a few prices for the different items which are
needed.
Mayor Brown said an ordinance is needed requiring fences around
swimming pools.
Back in August the Ley Publishing Company came in and requested
permission to put out a city directory. They were given permission.
They went around and collected for ads, and we have not had any
word from them since. Mayor Brown said he would tarn this over
to our Attorney.
A motion vas made by Councilman Fox to adjourn the meeting.
Seconded by Councilman Miller.
