Motion earried.
Meadowlark:
There was a discussion of obtaining easements. As long as these
easements are not dedicated to the Village, then there is so
responsibility. So it was suggested that the Village not accept
any drainage solation or road solation which we can't take care
of, because once we accept it, then we are responsible for it.
If the Village should allow this proposed swan, we have =
guarantee that it will be piped. The only way we would be sure
of having it piped is by having the developer put up a bond for
a certain length of time which would be forfeited if the piping
was not done by that t1me.
Last week a straw vote was given on the concept of the swan.
The developers were to have their engineering plans to show the
Village Engineer for some kind of report for this meeting. The
plans were given to the engineer too late for him to give us
any report.
It was advised that it should be suggested to the developers that
until they come up with an adequate solution to the drainage
problem, there will be no approval.

Councilman Miller said he would like the Council to instruct the
Zoning Board to close up any future drainage ditches and to
require the developer to put in a large enough pipe to take the
water all the way to its basin. Let's let all developers know
now either to cease in with the idea of piping, or don't come
In; no swans, no ditches.
