s oadIn anc ands:
Many residents of the ranchlands discussed their problems with the
roads in such bad condition. Mr. Reed of Fla. Land Co. explained
that Florida Land Company was doing emergency repairs only, and
that Allen Pyle was going to put down clay, pack it and then water
it at no expense to the village. They would fix what they had torn
up. After these repairs are done, it will be up to the Village to
maintain the roads.
Change name of North Orlando:
r. Howell Broughts subject up for discussion as he feels that
the name should be changed. Mr. Freeman discussed the procedures
for organizing a Charter Commission to establish a new charter for
the Village. Our Charter that we are presently functioning under
was drawn up by the North Orlando Co. in 1959.

the possibilities of a Post Office for North Orlando.
