CONTINUED MEETING
VILLAGE COUNCIL
VILLAGE OF NORTH ORLANDO
JULY 16, 1970
The Continued Meeting of the Village Council of the Village of North
Orlando, Florida was called to order by Mayor Jordan at 7:40 P.M.
A Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was led by Mr. Miller.
On Roll Call the following were present:
Mayor, Clifford Jordan Councilmen:
Attorney, Thomas Freeman, Jr. Charles Rowell
Charles Kelley
Wayne Miller
Richard Allen
The meeting was recessed and the Public Hearing was called to order.
Mayor Jordan read the notice of public hearing that had been
published in the Sanford Herald. Mr. Freeman brought a draft of
the proposed new ordinance and Mr. Jordan read Mr. Conklints
letter explaining the changes that had been made.
The Public Hearing was adjourned 8:06 p.m. and the meeting called
back to order.
Mayor Jordan read Ordinance 51, the amendment to Ordinance 44,providing for
R -T Trailer Park District. The first reading was completed and discussion
followed.
A motion was made by Mr. Kelley that we omit number 4 of Section 6
referring to animals, reptiles, insects, etc. Seconded by Mr. Miller.
Discussion. Motion carries.
A motion was made by Mr. Kelley that we adopt Ordinance #51,
amendment to Ordinance #44. Seconded by Mr. Allen. Discussion.
Motion carries.
A motion was made by Mr. Allen to continue the Public Hearing on
the Gerstung request for rezoning to R -T District on August 3, 1970
at 7:30 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Kelley. Discussion. Motion carried.
A motion was made to authorize a topographer to draw up the legal
descriptions for the proposed road right-of-ways annexation by
Mr. Rowell. Seconded by Mr. Kelley. Discussion. Motion carries.
The first reading of Ordinance #52 was read by Mr. Freeman. A
motion was made by Mr. Rowell that we adopt Ordinance #52 on the
first reading. Seconded by Mr. Allen. Discussion. Motion carries.

Mr. Jordan has spoken to the South Seminole Jaycees and they are
interested in working with the Council and the residents of the
Village in taking as their project our recreation building.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:50 p.m.
