Subject: Municipal Recreation Area
Dear Mrs. Van Epoel:
This letter confirms the agreement between Silver Creek Pre-
cision Corporation, the North Orlando Company, and the Incorporated
Village of North Orlando, on the matter of your receiving property fQr
a Municipal Recreational Area.
We agree to give and deed to the Village of North Orlando, for the
purpose of maintaining a Municipal Recreational Area, a piece of propw
erty consisting of approximately ten acres, identical to and situated
at the same location as presently utilized for this purpose. In as much
as we do not have anywhere in our records an adequate legal descripw
tion of the area in question, you agree to obtain same by a licensed
surveyor. We recommend Mro Marian Gordon, Sanford, Florida, to perfonn
this service in as much as he is familiar with this area, and we
suggest he coordinate his survey with the recommendations of our
Resident Manager, who is familiar with the general outline of the prop-
erty in question.
The cost of the survey and Legal description in this matter is the
responsibility of the Village.

The Village agrees to hold and Q~~R the property in question for
no other purpose or use than a recreational area at any time.
Immediately upon receipt of the aforementioned legal description,
we will have the necessary documents prepared to consummate this trans-
action. This letter should not be construed as limiting COnditions perN
taining to this grant of property which, in the opinion of our Legal
Counsel, are necessary to the dOcumento This statement is not intended
to compromise or qualify our commitment, but rather only to act in
accordance with our obligations as a Corporate Officer.

Subject: Ordinance No. 10
Dear Mrs. Van Epoel:
This letter confirms the agreement reached between your-
self and other members of the Village Council and the North
Orlando Company as represented by myself in our meeting on
Saturday, February 13, pertaining to Ordinance No. 10.
It was agreed that Mr. Orville Johnson, III, Village
Attorney, would redraft Ordinance No. 10 to effect the following
changes:
(1) The $60 per year assessment for the existing 22 fire
hydrants is cancelled as of December 31, 1963.
(2) For and in consideration of the sum of $1.00 the 22
exist~ng hydrants will be sold to the Village and henceforth
all l1tabilities and ownership of these hydrants is in the name
of the Vi llage.
(3) As additional hydrants are installed in the future,
the cost of these hydrants will be charged to the Village of ~
North Orlando to be amortized in equal payments over a period
of five years. Such payments will reduce the amount of commission-
to the Village of North Orlando from the North Orlando Utilities
Company as hereinafter established.
(4)In Section 13, it is agreed that the percent of commission
to be paid to the Village by the Utilities ~ompany shall be
reduced to 3% effective January 1, 1964. (Any such amounts due to
the Village of North Orlando shall be applied first to the
reduction of any outstanding indebtedness on the part of the Village
to the North Orlando Company ~nd/or the North Orlando Utilities
Company and only, thereafter, remitted to the Village annUallY:)
All other terms and conditions in the present Ordinance No. 10
shall remain unchanged.
We are enclosing a revised statement of the Village Account
to the North Orlando Companies, which gives affect to the adjust-
ments previously outlined in this letter. You will recall agreeing

to its acceptance as a part of resolving the several matters dis-
cussed.
We shall appreciate having a copy of the minutes of the next
meeting of the Village Council to this effect.
May we suggest that Mr. Orville Johnson, III, send a copy of the
revised Ordinance to Mr. Allen Ottman, and also to our Legal Counsel,
Mr. Howard Saperston.
