DISTRICT ADVISORY COMMITTEE
SPECIAL MEETING
DECEMBER 2, 2002
I. CALL TO ORDER
Vice Chairman Gary Hillery called the Special Meeting to order at 6:04 p.m., Monday,
December 2, 2002 in the East Conference Room of the Municipal Building (City Hall,
1126 East State Road 434, Winter Springs, Florida 32708).
Roll Call:
Chairman Donald A. Gilmore, present via conference call
Vice Chairman Gary Hillery, present
Committee Member Moti Khemlani, present
Committee Member Rande Thompson, absent
Committee Member Linda Tillis, present
II. REGULAR
REGULAR
A. Discussion Of Contract. (Commissioner David W. McLeod May Be In
Attendance.)
Discussion developed regarding a Settlement Agreement with Cathcart Contracting
Company to complete the project, which includes a Change Order in the amount of
$27,057.67; what Cathcart's final responsibilities encompass; and the minor
entranceways being completed by a separate Contractor.
MOTION BY COMMITTEE MEMBER KHEMLANI. "I MAKE A MOTION
THA T THIS BOARD APPROVE THE SETTLEMENT AS WORKED OUT
BETWEEN THE CITY MANAGER, COMMISSIONER [DAVID W.] McLEOD,
AND S.R.I. [STARMER RANALDI PLANNING AND ARCHITECTURE], AS
INDICA TED IN ITEM A LETTER DATED DECEMBER 2, 2002." SECONDED
BY COMMITTEE MEMBER TILLIS. DISCUSSION.
