BOARD MEMBERS: Grace Ann Glavin, Chairman, Present Art Hoffmann, Vice Chairman, Present David Hopkins, Present Tom Brown, Present Carl E. Stephens Jr., Present CITY OFFICIALS: Bruce C. Behrens, General Services Director Fred Goodrow, AICP, Planning Manager Review of the Unified Land Development Code Chapter (2) Swimming Pools 52.04.013 - Page 2-10, 1 (e): Spas was added. Page 2-11, 2 (c): The following wording was deleted: (Code 1974, Sec. 5-142). Page 2-11, 2 (D): (Changes and/or additions are in BOLD) No pool (excluding surrounding patio) shall be located closer to the side yard property line of the lot, parcel or piece of land upon which such pool is located than the distance required by Section 2.03.01 of the ci ty for side yards in the 1 and use classification in which the property is located, plus three (3) feet, but not less than (10) feet from the rear property line. Any part of the pool structure within and including the coping shall intrude upon any easement. Page 2-11, 2 (E): The words present or proposed were deleted, and the word recognized entered in its place. Page 2-11, 2 (F): The words, the ordinances were deleted, and replaced by, Section 2.03.021. Page 2-12, continuance of Paragraph (F) from Page 2-11: The word lakefront was deleted, and replaced with the word water. Page 2-12, (G): The word family was deleted, and replaced with, individual residential. The abbreviation, LDR deleted, and replaced with the word, code. The words, of the deleted, and replaced with, which are most restrictive. I ~ ~ I. Page 2-12, (C): The Board agreed to consult with the Building Department with regard to the value on fences which will determine the need for a Building Permit or not. ";, Page 2-13, (5): with regard to, "eleven-qauqe qalvanized barbed wire", the Board asked for input and recommendation from Staff. Page 2-13, (5): The following language was added to the end of paragraph (5): Barbed wire may be used above six (6) feet with approval of the city Manaqer. Page 2-13, 1 (b): The word owner deleted, and replaced with, holder of the easement. Page 2-14, 52.04.021 - Accessory Apartments, (A) Purpose: Entire paragraph deleted. It was also agreed by the Planning & Zoning Board to have this section taken back to Staff for their recommendations. Page 2-14, (2): Board of Adjustment was capitalized. Page 2-14, (3): The words, city staff was changed to, city manaqer. The following wording was deleted, who installed it, and the fencinq when removed may be reclaimed by that property owner. Page 2-14, (K): The word, therein was changed to, herein. Page 2-14 , (4) and (J): After a brief discussion by the Board, it was agreed to take this back to staff for their recommendation. Page 2-14, (B) and Page 2-15, (1 through 6): After a lengthy discussion with regard to accessory apartments, it was agreed to have Staff review and research this section. ~2.04.022 - Home Occupations, Pages 2-15 and 2-16: requested that Goodrow do a redraft on this section. The Board ~2.04.023 - Dining Rooms, Recreation Centers and other amenities, Page 2-17 (C) 3: Chapter 8 was corrected to read, Chapter 7. Page 2-17, (n) Employee Fitness Centers: the word, development was deleted. Chairman Glavin asked if the Concurrency Management Ordinance was passed. It was confirmed by Goodrow and Brown that it had passed, however, the Board agreed to check with Mary Norton, the City Clerk for verification. Page 3-2, (B): The words, too close at hand was deleted, and replaced with, insufficient to allow. Page 3-2, (D): Second line down; the following language was deleted: on the Aqency's Aqenda, and the following word added: considered. Page 3-2, (E): processed. The word, handled was deleted, and replaced with ~3.01.015 - Paqe 3-3, Effect of Listinq on Local Reqister (A) The words, certificate of historic significance was capitalized. (B) - The word, individually was deleted. Hopkins Hoffmann. P.M. made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by Chairman Glavin declared the meeting adjourned at 9:00 Shirley .
