PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD MEETING
June 28, 1989
The meeting was called to order at 7: 30 P.M.

Gene Dorman, Chairman, Absent
John Torcaso, Present
David McLeod, Present
Michael Saporito, Vice-Chairman, Present

Torcaso moved to approve the minutes of May 24, 1989. Seconded by Hopkins.
Vote: All aye. Motion carried.

Sapori to asked if there are any recollunendations for interim Chairman. Torcaso
moved to elect Hopkins for interim Chairman until the new board meets and has
elections for Chairman and Vice-Chairman. Seconded by McLeod. Discussion on
motion. Torcaso stated that he WdS sorry to see Saporito leave and that he had
been a valuable member of the Board. Vote: All aye. Motion carried.
Sapori to stated that he has served more than 30 years on boards including small
ci ties, study commissions, part-time police, and presidential guard. He stated
that he has not worked with more dedicated people that he has with this Board,
and that he is impressed with their dedication. He said he knows the Board
will do what they have to for the citizens of Winter Springs.
The lneeting was adjourned at 7:4[j P.M.
