PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD MINUTES
March 22, 1989
The meeting was called to order at 7: 45 P. M.

Dorman moved the approval of the minutes of March 8 and 15, 1989 to the end of
the meeting.
Request to Annex 21 Acres North of State Road 434 East of Howell Branch,
Adjacent to Spring Avenue - Lots 12 and 16, P.R. Yonge Grant, Plat Book 1, Page
36 (Casscells):
Koch gave her presentation. She stated that the request is to annex the two
lots to add to adjacent property the Casscells own, which are in the City.
The land use assignment for these lots will be part of the first set of full-
scale amendments to the Canprehensive Plan for 1989.
Dorman asked if the Board had any questions on the request.
McLeod moved to recommend approval of the annexation of 21 acres to the City
Camnission as stated in the request. Seconded by Hopkins. Vote: All aye.
Motion carried.
Request to Annex 18 Acres North of State Road 434, west of Brantley Avenue, on
North Side of Railroad - Lot 14 (Sanders) and Lot 15 (Meade), BlockB, Mitchell
Survey of Levy Grant, Plat Book 1, page 5:
Koch gave her presentation. She stated that the two lots are beyond the
railroad tracks north of City Hall. Robert Seigler, Realtor, is present
representing the owners. Addition of these lots to the Land Use Map will also
be part of the spring full-scale amendments to the Comprehensive Plan.
Dorman asked about the upkeep of the roads. Koch stated that now the roads are
undeveloped and ultimately will be under City jurisdiction.
Dorman also asked about fire and rescue service. Koch stated that we are under
the first response agreement.
Seigler stated the owners plan to develop the property compatible to the area.
Hopkins moved to recommend approval to the City Corronission the annexations of
Lot 14 and 15 as stated on the application. Seconded by Torcaso. Discussion.
Vote: All aye. Motion carried.

Hopkins moved to approve the minutes of March 8, 1989. Seconded by McLeod.
