Vote: Torcaso: aye; McLeod: aye; Saporito: aye; Hopkins: aye; Dorman: absent. Motion carried. Request of Kenneth W. McIntosh, Agent for Multiple Owners, to Annex the West 1/2 of the Southwest 1/4 of Sec. 4, T. 21 S., R. 31 E., Less Parcels 2-B and 2-U and Less that Portion Lying North of S.R. 434, All in Seminole County, FL .2.2----8-cr_e~_~Q.t1th of S.R. 434 Con~ous to Eastern Ci~~.!mits: Kenneth McIntosh, agent for Imlltiple owners, was there to speak for the request. The property is composed of most of the lots in an unrecorded subdivision known as Pines of Tuscawilla. Only two parcels at the northeast corner are not included at this time. Koch advised she has been contacted by the agent for one of these lots and told they were considering annexing as well. Saporito asked about the buildings seen on aerial photographs shown by the applicant. There are a number of homes, a barn, and separate garages existing on the property. Saporito asked about the expressway. McIntosh stated that the owners are aware of the expressway reservation legislation that is in force and that it is not discouraging to them. The owners desire to annex into the Ci ty of Winter Springs in order to receive municipal services and to become part of an orderly growing communi ty . Koch stated that she spoke with the Director of the Expressway Authority and he has no objection with this annexation at all. The R-O-W map is officially recorded wi th the court, it is not owned by the expressway but is reserved subject to negotiation. Hopkins asked about the access and service. Koch stated that the access is from 434. Staff has reviewed the proposal and has no problem with this annexation. Torcaso asked if there was a problem with the County on this annexation. Koch stated that there is no reason for a problem; the City has done everything that the Law requires and has sent the County an inter-local notice form.
