PRESENT WERE: CITY OFFICIAL: Richard DeFazio, Present Gene Dorman, Vice-Chairman, Present Taru Joshi, Present Jim Hartman, Present D. Robert Smedley, Chairman, Present Jacqueline Koch, Dir. Adm./City Planner APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF August 13, 1986: DeFazio moved to approve the minutes of August 13, 1986. Seconded by Smedley. Vote: All Aye. Motion carried. REQUEST OF JACK ZIMMER TO ANNEX LOT 14 AND LOT 15, LESS THE NORTH 385 FEET OF TIlE EAST 225 FEET, ENTZMINGER FARMS ADDITION NO.3, AND THE SOUTHERLY 20 FEET OF LOT 13, ENTZMINGER FARMS ADDITION NO.1, - 10 ACRES ON THE EAST SIDE OF US 17-92 ON THE SOUTII the City and to have zoning at C-2, which is consistent with what the City has zoned property in that area. She stated that on the county's current zoning map one lot is zoned C-2 and the other is zoned A-I agriculture. We need to deal with the annex- ation and the amendment to our land use map. The property is 10 acres which requires the full scale review to amend the Comprehensive Land Use ~~p. The annexation can proceed and the land ,use will be continued until the next amendments to the Compre- hensive Plan which will be in 1987; this ean only be done twice in a year. The applicant will have the option to proceed with the annexation or he may prefer to defer the application until he has more of an idea on the actual decision on the land use change. The County's land use map designates this property as Low Density Residential. It will need to be Light Industrial on the City's map to allow the requested zoning. Jack Zimmer spoke in behalf of his request. lle stated that the property surrounding his is mostly in the City and is his request to be annexed into the City with C-2 zoning. There was discussion on the residential property in the area. Dorman moved to recommend approval to the City Commission the annexation of Lot 14 and Lot 15 less the north 385 feet of the east 225 feet, Entzminger Farms Addition No.3, and the southerly 20 feet of Lot 13, Entzminger Farms Addition No. 1 - 10 acres on the east side of US 17-92 on the south shore "of Boat Lake. Seconded by DeFazio. Vote: All Aye. Motion carried. A!1ENDMENT OF THE LAND USE OF THE ABOVE PROPERTY FROM LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO IN- DUSTRIAL PRECEDENT TO REZONING THE ENTIRE PARCEL TO WINTER SPRINGS ZONE C-2 - DEFFERAL UNTIL LAND PLANNING AGENCY PUBLIC HEARING ON FIRST 1987 GROUP OF AMENDMENTS TO COMPREHE1~SIVE PLAN: Chairman Smedley moved to continue this request until the first public hearing to be held in 1987 by the Land Planning Agency. Seconded by Dorman. Vote: All Aye. Motion carried. There was discussion on the revised Planned Unit Development Ordinance. It was determined that the Board will review the Ordinance and bring any comments to the next meeting. The meeting was adjourned at 8:05 P.M. Respectfully submitted,
