Amended Minutes
Wednesday, November 16, 1983
7:30 P.M.
REGULAR MEETING
Meeting was called to order by Chairman Hatfield.
Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag led by Smedley.
ROLL CALL:

Approval of Minutes of November 9, 1983.
DeFazio moved to approve the minutes as submitted.
Vote: All aye. Motion carried.
Kaehler seconded.
REQUEST OF WOODSTREAM DEVELOPMENT COMPANY TO AMEND THE APPROVED LAND USE OF
WOODSTREAM IN TUSCAWILLA FROM CONDOMINIUM TO SINGLE FAMILY:
Elwell presentation. Bill Martin, representative for the applicant made his
presentation. Discussion. The applicant could not furnish documents he had
indicated were executed - joinders of consent from current property owners
in Woodstream concurring with the request. Smedley moved to table the
application. Kaehler seconded. Vote: All aye. Motion carried.
The next scheduled regular meeting of November 23, 1983 is changed to November
30, 1983 due to Thanksgiving Holiday.
Regular meeting adjourned at 8:08 P.M.
WORKSHOP
The Board agreed to provide their final comments on the draft of the proposed
revision to the commercial zoning code by November 30 so that it can be corrected
and duplicated for submittal after the December 14 meeting.
Review continued of the proposed map allocating the five commercial zones to lands
now in the City and lands suggested to be annexed. Discussion on splitting zoning
on larger tracts to create transitions between housing and intermediate-intensity
as opposed to zoning entire tracts adjacent to housing at low or moderate intensity.
Discussion on zoning to be applied to commercial tracts already developed with multi-
family.
Workshop adjourned at 9:45 P.M.
