Mr Bob Williams, Chairman, Zoning &. Planning Board
City of Winter Springs
Winter Springs, Florida
Dear Mr. Williams:
I wish to register with you my opposition to the zoning change request for
the property directly across the street from my and my sister's one acre
plot at the corner of Moss and Bahama Roads.
The request for rezoning is for lots 2 &. 3 of Block A of No. Orlando Ranch
Lands. This is for rezoning from RC-l to R-lAA. This would allow 4 houseS
to an acre to be built on those 2 blocks which consists of approximately
l3~ acres.
If this rezoning were granted it would create another subdivision similar
to the many we already have, that Florida Land Co. has created.
Unfortunately the letter notifying my sister, Norma Pratt, was sent only
to her with my name not mentioned on the letter. This appears to be an
error that could cause problems, because an out of town address without
both names and addresses, (mine being a Florida address) would aid in less
opposition to .this rezoning request. These tactics are not ethical ones,
Legal description, in brief, of my-property is: NW Cor Moss &. BahAma Rds:,
Lot 106A that measures 195.95 by 355.44 by 67.17 by 319.19 ft. This is
close to an acre or slightly over an acre in size, making it possible for
a horse to be located there when it is sold to someone for home building.
Quarter acre lots in a subdivision across the street would greatly devalue
my property, since it is an acre lot.
Please show me as opposed, on your official records this evening.
I am at a class, and did miss this same class for the meeting 2 weeks ago
where there was no quorum.
