CALL TO ORDER: Meeting called to order by Chairperson Rossiter at 7:40 p.m. APPROVAL OF MINUTF.S: Minutes of the meeting of February 26 were approved as submitted. CITY PLANNER: Mrs. Kramer told the Board she has resigned, effective March 12. TUSCAWILLA ~UBLIC HEARING: The Board discusE'ed next week's Public Hearing on a request by the Tuscawilla developer. The Planner reminded the Board that it has the option of approving the request with whatever requirements and restrictions it wishes to impose to insure that what is actually developed is what the Board and the City Council anticipate will be developed. P.U.D. ORDINANCE: The Board unanimously recommended that the Council adopt the draft of the PUD ordinance as presented. The Board further authorized the Chair- person to write and sign a letter of transmittal to accompany the document, urging Council's adoption as submitted. The draft and letter of transmittal will go to the mayor and Council on Monday, March 8. REQUEST FOR REZONING: The Board discussed an application by Florida Land Co. to rezone from R1A to commercial a .6 acre tract on the northeast corner of the int- ersection of S. Edgemon Drive/Sunset Drive and Seminola Boulevard. Because it is the opinion of the Board that it has not been satisfactorily determined if this parcel is within the city limits, the secretary was authorized to send a-retter (attached) to Florida Land Co., suggesting that Florida Land contact the cityat- torney and ask him for an opinion on whether or not the parcel is in the city. If it is the attorney's opinion that the parcel is in the city, the 1"&2 Board will immediately call a Public Hearing on the rezoning request. NEXT MEETING: Next meeting is the Public Hearing at 7 :30 on Thursday, March 11, on the request for a change in the Tuscawilla Preliminary Development Plan. ADJOURNMENT: Meeting was adjourned at 9:55 p.m.
