CALL TO ORDER: Meeting called to order by Chairperson Rossiter at 7:30 p.m.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Minutes of the meeting of February 12 were not acted upon.
DISCUSSION OF PUBLIC HEARING ON TUSCAWILLA REQUEST: Newsome asked the Mayor why
he felt the 1"&2 Board should not hold a Public Hearing March 4 on a request by the
Tuscawilla developer for a change in the Preliminary Development Plan. The Mayor
responded that the present ordinance contains no requirement for such a Public
Hearing and said the city attorney questions the prerogative of the P&Z Board to
call such a Public Hearing. He also said that the Council has not authorized
the City Planner to assist the P&2 Board nor act as its representative. He said
that, if the P&2 Board wishes to hold a Public Hearing, the Chairperson of the
1"&Z Board should notify the city clerk.
MOTION: On a motion by Newsome, seconded by Sabatini, the Board voted unanimously
that the Chairperson notify the city clerk that the P&Z Board desires to hold a
Public Hearing at 7:30 p.m. on March 11 on the request by the Tuscawilla developer
for a change in the Preliminary Development Plan and request that the city clerk
comply with the legal notice requirements for such a Public Hearing.

On a motion by Newsome, seconded by Cottage, the 1"&2 Board voted unani-
request that City Council officially designate the city planner as pro-
staff for the P&Z Board and the liason between the P&Z Board and the
(Letter attached) The Mayor said Council will discuss it February 23.
WORKSHOP: The regular meeting was adjourned at S:03 p.m. and a workshop was
called to order for the purpose of discussing the draft of a revised PUD ordi-
nance. The ordinance draft was discussed in detail; comments by the Mayor and
Councilmen will be considered by the Board at its next meeting, February 26.
ADJOURNMENT: The workshop was adjourned at 10:0L p.m.
NEXT MEETING: The Board will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, February 26. Among
the agenda items will be a final discussion of the PUD ordinance draft.
