HomeMy WebLinkAbout1985 07 23 Site Plan Review Board Meeting Minutes SITE PLAN REVIEW BOARD MINUTES TUESDAY, July 23, 1985 Present: Peter Cowell, City Plarmer; Jo1m Govoruhk, Police Chief; Terry Zaudtke, City Engineer; Charles Holzman, Fire Chief; Sam Smith, Building Official Absent: Doug Taylor JON lWL OFFICE AND MAINTENANCE FACILITY ON WADE STREET RepFesentcitive, Tel-rr01z The City Engineer stated that the retention pond area has a pop off with a concrete swale section going into the street right-of-way. This will cause a problem because it's going to pond water along the road way and create a traffic hazard. He suggest thatan inlet be put in the retention pond with a manhole and a pipe to the curbing. The City Engineer questioned the soils report and stated that one will be required. There were no provisions for tmderdrains shown, and he also questioned the location of the well. Additionally: 1. The driveway width needs to m=et minimum city standards. 2. Striping needs to be white per OOT' s standards. 3. Street lights, parking lights, security lights need to be shown. 4. If there is going to be a sign package, it needs to be shown. 5. Threading for the pump needs to be shown. 6. Black topping - earthtone. 7. Show the height of the fence throught. 8. If therer are going to be wheel stops, it needs to be shown. 9. Parking spaces to be 10 x 20. 10. The City Engineer stated that there need to be sane verification that the down stream line can handle the flow. Motion was made by Sam Smith to reject the plan tmtil such time as the developer could provide additional infonnation. Seconded by Jo1m Govoruhk. Vote: All aye. BRAND NEW ll1PORTS AND SENTRY FENCE CENTER IDENTIFICATION SIGNS Representative: Car 1 ton Cox Total height of the sign 30'. This change is going to require the rest of the signs within the Sentry Fence property to be considered store front signs which allows only one square foot per lineal foot of building frontage for these buildings. The City Engineer recOOIIJended that the embedment point be changed fran 6' to 7'. The signs have to be buffered. :Mr. Cox stated that the signs will be buffered with shrubs.
