PRESENT: John Govoruhk; Police Chief, Jack Cooper; City Engineer, Ron Emery; Superintendent of Public Works, Sam F. Smith; Building Official, Chuck Holzman; Fire Chief, Jacqueline Koch; City Plarmer. AMENIED SI'IE PLAN OF RICCARD RETAIL STORE SELLlliG PLANTS AND PATIO FURNITURE AT 750 WEST STA'IE ROAD 434. Mr. Riccardo of 750 West State Road 434 was present. Jack Cooper, City Engineer proposed that the second entrance on 434 be permitted, using it as an entrance only, and the curb cut that JVlr. Riccard is currently using as an entrance/exit be used as an exit only. Thus traffic flow would be one way and no new curb cut is required. Discussion then pursued as to the Department of Transportation regulations on the one-way traffic using the curb cut. The City Plarmer then inquired as to the landscaping to be used and the type of fencing to be used. Discussion. Motion was made to approve the plan with a fence painted green, with no top rail, with 2 to 3 foot railing and landscaped, by Jack Cooper. Discussion. Seconded by Sam Smith. Vote. All aye. IVbtion carried. AMENDED wr DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR FOUR wrs lli LORI . ANNE ACRES. The City Plarmer stated the Board's concern here with the four lots in questions is safety, being to prevent or deter thru traffic in the rear parking area except for emergency vehicles. Discussion then pursued on the various methods. IVbtion was made by Jacqueline Koch to prohibit fencing between the lots. Smith; aye, Govoruhk; aye, Emery; nay, Cooper; nay, Holzman; nay, Koch; aye. Tie vote, motion undetermined. Discussion pursued as to placing concrete block stops in the rear. IVbtion was made by Jacqueline Koch to approve the aIrended lot development plan with the conditions that concrete block stops be placed between the lots in the rear to deter/slow thru traffic and yellow traffic lettering of no parking be painted on the access routes, with the size of lettering to be determined by the Police Chief.
