Call to Order Chairperson Lup called the meeting to order at 7:05 a.m. in the Winter Springs Senior Center, 400 N. Edgemon Avenue, Winter Springs. 2. Roll Call Mel Glickman, present Walt Dittmer, present Sally McGinnis, present Jackie Gieseler, present Jim Lup, Chairperson, present Mayor John Bush, present 3. Approval of the Mav 21. 1996 Special Meetin2 Minutes Chairperson Lup asked for comments about the minutes. Pa2e 2. second para2raph. fourth line down reads: Chairperson Lup asked Glickman to put something together. Comment: Glickman said that he wasn't sure what he was supposed to be putting together. Pa2e 2. second para2raph. fourth line down reads: Gieseler said that she would print the brochures. Correction: Gieseler said that she would print the bIochures 11111. Motion: Approval of the minutes with corrections made. All ayes. Motion carried. Chairperson Lup thanked the board members for attending the breakfast. Mayor Bush asked how the board wanted to advertise for the photo contest at the schools regarding pictures for the map. Glickman said that the photos probably won't be needed before school begins again in August. Mayor Bush said he would handle it through the schools. Glickman said they need a good map ofthe city (for the map). Mayor Bush asked the recording secretary to get information about the city maps from the City Manager. Glickman asked if the map is cross-indexed; it had been suggested to him. Mayor Bush said that ought to be something staff can handle. Glickman asked what was going to be done with the completed survey's. Mayor Bush said Grimms will analyze and tally them up. When they are ready, the board can review them. Mayor Bush suggested sending out the results, especially to the people who attends the breakfast. McGinnis mentioned to Chairperson Lup to announce at the breakfast that they will get copies of the results of the survey. Glickman added, remind people to sign in on the guest register. Glickman said the original thought was a mailing, but the handout at the breakfast is in lieu of a mail out. McGinnis said that the results could be sent to everyone (business owners) with a letter of explanation. Mayor Bush mentioned putting a copy of the results with license renewals. The board members thanked Jenkins, Deputy City Clerk (recording secretary), for her help with the breakfast. 4. Adiournment The meeting adjourned at 7:15 a.m. /mj c c
