Call to Order The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Lup at 8:15 a.m. in the Commission Chambers, Winter Springs Municipal Building. 2. Roll Call Staff. Dresent Mayor John Bush, present Jim Lup, Chairperson, present Jackie Gieseler, present Mel Glickman, present Walt Dittmer, present Sally McGinnis, absent Tom Grimms, Community Dev. Coordinator John Ketteringham, General Services Director 3. PreDarations for Breakfast Meetine: Chairperson Lup said he met with Susie Coffman at the Senior Center to let her know how to set up the center for the breakfast. Glickman said that the Internet Promotions representative will be at the breakfast and he wanted to know ifthere was a place for him to set up his equipment. Mayor Bush mentioned that there was a television as you walk in the door. Chairperson Lup gave the recording secretary the invitations to the Commissioners, and he handed the Mayor his invitation. He apologized for getting the invitations out late. The board members agreed to meet at the Senior Center at 6:30 a.m., June 12, 1996, and hold the regular meeting at 7:00 a.m. Mayor Bush said that Albertsons at Red Bug is donating orange juice, and the Albertsons at 17/92 is donating donuts. The Jenkins, recording secretary, said Winn Dixie will be donating a $10.00 dairy gift certificate. Brief discussion on exactly what was to be bought for the breakfast. The members discussed who was going to speak at the breakfast; also who was going to speak when, and about what. They also talked about what they wanted in the program. Gieseler wrote down the information so she could get the program printed. The board agreed to the recording secretary printing up an attendance register on her computer instead of purchasing one. Grimms distributed copies of the survey. The board reviewed the cover letter and survey. The members asked that the cover letter be changed to read that the survey's be left at the meeting either on the table or in a box as people leave the breakfast. Glickman mentioned going to the Commission meeting (June 10th) to let them know the Commerce/Industry Development Board is working on the idea of the city getting on the Internet, and he will also inform them (Commission) ofInternet Promotions displaying at the breakfast. 4.
