Glickman said that a key to moving forward would be meeting with the city manager on a structured basis; discussing all the things on the members minds and fmding out how to proceed so that the Commission will act on issues. The members requested that the new city manager attend the Commerce and Industry Development Board meeting in February. McGinnis suggested that periodic reports and positive comments on improvements to the media are needed to get the message out to businesses that progress is being made. Glickman shared an article from 1992 about the Commerce and Industry Board. McGinnis said that the board needs to continue publishing periodic updates.
