Call to order: Glickman said that Chairperson Lup asked him to chair the meeting since he would be unable to attend. Glickman called the meeting to order at 8:20 a.m. 2. Roll Call: Sally McGinnis, present Jackie Gieseler, present Mel Glickman, present Walt Dittmer, absent Jim Lup, absent 3. Approval of December 13. 1995 Meeting: Glickman asked if there were any additions or corrections. McGinnis moved that the minutes be accepted as read. All ayes. Minutes stand approved as read. - 4. Unfinished Business: a) Update on letter to city manager regarding map-this item was tabled until the January meeting. b) Injomlation regarding the Orlando Chamber, Small Business Expo-this item was tabled until the January meeting. c) City of Longwood survey, City of Winter Springs report-Glickman brought in the "City of Longwood" survey. The recording secretary made copies of the survey for board members. McGinnis said that she sat in on some of the interviews for the new city manager. The person which she understands has been chosen to honor the job was real strong on "Customer Survey's", and feels survey's are essential for business. Glickman said that the board needs to decide on whether or not to do a survey. '" McGinnis suggested hosting a small reception in the city hall lobby. The businesses bring their completed survey's to get into the reception to meet the new city manager. Glickman suggested that the reception be at the end of February. Gieseler said it was an excellent idea. Glickman also suggested mailing out the map and the survey together. New Business: Glickman said that he would ask a "Community Map Company" representative to attend the January meeting. 6.
