Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by Chairman Lup at 8:25 a.m. in the City Hall Conference Room. 2. Roll Call: Chairman Jim Lup, present Sally McGinnis, present John Baker, absent Mel Glickman, present Walt Dittmer, present 3. Approval of the April 12. 1995 Meeting Minutes: Chairman Lup asked for comments on the minutes. Dittmer moved to approve the April 12, 1995 minutes. McGinnis seconded. All Ayes. Minutes stand approved as stated. . 4. Old Business-Brochure Completion Glickman stated that he sent each member a copy of the draft so changes could be made where necessary. Glickman distributed a five (5) page draft of the brochure which he said will be used unless additional changes were needed. Glickman explained the few changes made to the brochure, and mentioned that a final proof will be mailed to the members of the board as soon as the map has been selected. 5. New Business Dittmer exhibited a publication sent by the Orlando Chamber of Commerce. Discussion of growth of the City of Winter Springs. McGinnis asked Lup if he had produced a letter regarding a periodical meeting between the Commission and Board Members. Lup said that he wanted to wait until the August 7, 1995 Workshop to see if anything is said, but McGinnis said she would like to see the matter in writing. Brief discussions regarding the Seminole Chamber of Commerce and the "Visioning Seminar". . McGinnis commented that she would also like to see in writing the internal process for logging city inquiries. . MINUTES COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT BOARD JULY 12, 1995 PAGE 2 McGinnis suggested planning a tour for select chamber members, etc. Lup suggested inviting Real Estate brokers, Economic Development Commission employees, and possibly area firm executives. Glickman mentioned setting up a booth at an expo. Orlando Expo is held in April, and the Seminole County Expo is in March. Discussion. The meeting was adjourned at 9: 10 a.m by Chairman Lup.
