McGinnis. Vote: All aye. Motion carried.
Presentation by Mel Glickman - Rough Draft of Copy and Layout of Brochure:
Glickman stated the Board has received a rough draft of the copy. He said
that the City Planner, Greg Kern has given him some changes and asked for
the Board's input as well, if there is anything the Board wants to change or
add etc.
Glic~n said that he went before the Commission on Monday night and showed
them the difference between running the pictures in black and white and
colors; the cost is an additional $1,900. The Commission has granted us the
additional cost to run the brochure in five colors. The next step is a
revised draft and a revised layout showing it in color.
Glickman said there is still a lot of stops along the way, but said he still
can have it printed before the end of August. He said the only thing he is
missing is a decent map of the City and also said that he spoke with the
City Planner and was told that it should not be a problem.
There was discussion on the color of the City Seal on the front page of the
brochure.
Lup mentioned that on page 3, should something about UCF be mentioned.
Glickman said that he was thinking about that but put it on page 2.
McGinnis mentioned that he didn't like the phrase about continuing
construction. Glickman stated that that is one of the things Kern changed
and now it will read "...to the carpletion of the expressway along the
City's eastern boundary in early 1994".

Winter Springs. Discussion. Lup said he thinks it is approximately 1,000
acres for industrial/commercial available. It was decided to add that to
the brochure.
Lup said that the Commerce & Industry Development Board should be mentioned
in the brochure. Discussion. Glickman said that we could put in that all
inquires go to the Commerce & Industry Board.
Lup commended Glickman for a great job on the brochure.
Dittmer mentioned offering the brochure to businesses for a cost.
Discussion.

"My City - Winter Springs - I'm part of it - I'm proud of it!", to be handed
out to all residents of the City.
