Lup stated that we have the approval from the Commission but the Attorney
wanted to check to make sure there was no problem with Mel doing the work.
Glickman said the first step will be to take the pictures and see what we
have, then write the brochure, get the Board to read it, look it over then
go to layout.
Rich Lonsberry, representative of Community Map Company, gave the Board
members a package of information. He explained that his company is a
community map company from PA, our company ;s 47 years old and does
community information guides and mapping for municipalities of all sizes.
We offer a municipality the availability of developing a community
development guide. We give you four pages on this information guide, that
you can develop anyway you see fit; you have total editorial control on
this, we are the printers, we print it for you, we won't print it without
your approval.
Lonsberry said that we have our own in-house photography department, we will
work with your City map and bring it up to date. Your map can be
customized, you have full editorial control on that. We support this guide
with your local businesses, our representative will visit the local
businesses. This guide covers three bases: an information forum, new
mapping, and gets the sponsors name in front of everybody.
Lonsberry stated that the only requirement that we ask of the City is that
they distribute this guide to every mailing address in the City. We will
print your City's name and bulk permit. Discussion. The only cost to the
City would be the cost of mailing.

Lonsberry said that they only work with a small simple contract with the
City and a letter of introduction from the City. I would work right out of
City Hall where I can make phone calls, and set up appointments with
business persons.

residents plus businesses. Lonsberry stated that we would probably produce
