Mr. Jones gave out copies of questionnaires or surveys and also a response to the

information. Mrs. Smith also had copies of surveys that were sent to 100 of the

ten issues of importance and transportation was listed as the number one item.
Mr. Jones presented an outline of a brochure he prepared. He suggested in the first

Springs narrating the relationships with the rest of the area in general. Also the
nature and type of City government. That would be in the first section.
The second section would be the quality of life section having a description of the
residential life, the parks and recreation, schools ratings, etc. and commuting
distances.
The third section would show the infrastructure such as utilities, power, gas,
water and wastewater treatment facilities, roads, transportation such as rail and
airports.
Then the fourth section would be the description of the present business climate
showing the number of businesses and the number of their employees, requirements
for establishing business or industry in the City of Winter Springs, etc.
Mrs. Smith asked the Board members to send her any comments they may have on the
questionnaire, then she will get it to the City Manager to be presented to the
Commission.
