WINTER SPRINGS COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY
DEVELOPMENT BOARD MEETING
THURSDAY, MARCH 9, 1989
The Winter Springs Commerce and Industry Development Board Meeting was called to
order by Chairman Ruth Smith at 4:00 p.m.
ROLL CALL:
Mayor Leanne M. Grove, absent
City Manager Richard Rozansky, present
Chairman Ruth Smith, present
Alan Fickett, present
Jim Cooper, absent
Jon Hall, present
Tom Binford, present
Also present:
Mr. Smith
Gene Dorman, Chairman of the Planning & Zoning Board
John Horner, Outlook
Chairman Smith gave a brief report of the Planning & Zoning Board Workshop Meeting
she attended on March 8, 1989. She said the Planning & Zoning Board is targeting
April as the month to get started with all the information being compiled and getting
into writing of the new plan. Dr. Fickett asked how this Board could be of assistance
and Mr. Dorman suggested just by keeping communication going back and forth and
attending the workshops. The City Clerk was asked to mail Agendas to the Board so they
are aware of when the meetings will be held.
Chairman Smith read the invitation from Moti Khemlani, President of the Tuscawilla
Homeowners Association, inviting this Board to their meeting on April 6th at 8:00
p.m. to be held at the Keeth Elementary School.
The Dittmer Property and the Piggly Wiggly Shopping Center property were discussed
as to what could be placed in there. The Board will put these properties in their
inventory of projects.
The Board then viewed the Seminole County promotional tape with the title, "Florida's
premier address, Seminole County".
Meeting was adjourned 5:00 p.m.
