CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD
REGULAR MEETING
JUNE 19,2001
I. CALL TO ORDER
Madam Chairperson Joanne Krebs called the Regular Meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. on June
19, 2001, in the Commission Chambers of the Municipal Building (City Hall, 1126 East
State Road 434, Winter Springs, Florida 32708). The Pledge of Allegiance followed.

Approval of the April 17, 2001 Regular Meeting Minutes
Chairperson Krebs said, "Let's go ahead and look for an approval for the Minutes from April
17th.
"SO MOVED." MOTION BY BOARD MEMBER PITTS. SECONDED BY BOARD
MEMBER FURTH. DISCUSSION.
CHAIRPERSON KREBS STATED THAT THE UNDER THE AMENDED FINDING
OF FACT THE WORD "MANGER" SHOULD BE "MANAGER".

II. REGULAR AGENDA
The Deputy City Clerk swore in those persons who may be providing testimony during the
presentation of tonight's cases.
Code Enforcement Manager Jimette Cook advised the Board that "All cases on the Agenda
are in compliance except for CEB-99-818."

Section 13-2. (Storage Of Brush And Debris)
**Recommendation For Foreclosure, Per City Attorney**
Ms. Cook spoke of the case being before the Board in January 2000 and of the history of the
case since that time. She stated, " I don't see any other remedy to the situation except to seek
foreclosure. What I am asking for you, per the Florida Statutes, the Code Enforcement Board
has the authority to recommend foreclosure to the city attorney. And that's what I'm looking
for from you tonight." Ms. Cook spoke of her concerns if the land remains as it is.
Discussion.
Chairperson Krebs asked, "So what you are actually looking for, simply is just a
recommendation from this Board that we go ahead and recommend a foreclosure on the
property to get that business out of the way?" "Right," replied Ms. Cook.
"SO MOVED."
DISCUSSION.

The Board discussed with Staff the status of a former case.
IV. ADJOURNMENT
Chairperson Krebs adjourned the meeting at 7:28 p.m.
