Discussion of Closed and Pending Cases:
White told the Board that the case with the signs has been taken care of.
Hoffmann mentioned that prior to the hearing regarding the signs; same of
the Board members were contacted. He stated that this concerned him and he
asked the City Attorney to came and talk to the Board regarding ethics and
so on as regarding the Board. Hoffmann said the City Attorney may be here
this evening.
White said that the listing of cases the Board has received there is only
one case that has not been resolved.
There were a few questions on the listing of cases that have been corrected.
CEB-92-436, Jose J. & Winnie F. Villafane and Collective Federal Savings -
303 Birch Terrace, Section 20-433(1) - Disabled Motor Vehicle:
White passed out an update of this case to the Board. He stated that this
case is in the process of changing ownership. This case originally started
with a rotting pool, torn down fence, yard trash; which all have been taken
care of. The only thing left in this case is a junk car, the problem with
the junk car is that it is personal property and until the ownership of the
property is assu~d by the mortgage company they can't go in and touch
personal property. The mortgage company has repaired the house, the fence
and fixed the pool and cleaned the yard.
Discussion on this case.
Gray moved to continue this case until the next meeting. Seconded by lyzen.
Vote: All aye. Motion carried.

CEB-92-512, Jeffery M. & Sandra A. Jasjulski and Bancplus Mortgage Campany-
218 Wade Street, Section 13-2(a, b, c, d) - Trash and Debris in Yard and
Right-of-Way, Pool Stagnant, Grass and Weeds Untended:
White passed out (again) an update on this case. He stated that within the
last week or so the ownership has changed and is now owned by HUD. HUD has
hired the Urban Group to resolve this, but the problem is as of today the
property is still messy. They have taken care of the pool, the trash in the
house but they haven't cleaned up the grass and trash in the front yard.
White stated that we can't do anything because the ownership has changed and
the due process was not performed with HUD.
Discussion on this case.
Lyzen moved to continue this case until the next meeting. Seconded by Gray.
Vote: All aye. Motion carried.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:30 P.M.
