Qjscussion of Closed and pendin!=l Cases:____________u_ ______
White stated that originally there were four cases scheduled for tonigh~'s
meeting. The Pitt case reached a point where the Commission fined him $1,000 and
he paid the fine and obtained a building permit. Two of the other cases involved
two basketball backboards that were built on the City's right-of-way, and we
received a ruling fram the Commission that this was not to be allowed, the two
residents upheld my warnings, however, both parties have since come into
compliance. The fourth case involved a case that came before this Board last
year, and we tried to fine these people based on the relief order that was given,
but the relief order was too general. The legal department for the City said
that the relief order was not "tight enough". So i could not fine the parties
because the relief order was too general.

usually present for legal 1se. he Board said that they will be more specific
to the sections in the City , en giving a relief order.

the violations they were cited for.
There was discussion on the pending cases for September.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:40 P.M.
