CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD MEETING
CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS
~UESDAY, SEPTEMBER 15, 1987
~he Code Enforcement Board Meeting was called to order by Mr. Frank Broyles at 7:00 P.M.
Mr. Broyles entertained a motion to excuse the absence of Mr. James Dasher. Motion was
made by Mr. Pieper and seconded by Mr. Cerra. All ayes. Motion Carried.

Officer Gerald Justice, Code Prosecutor, Present
Officer Brenda Sonafelt, Code Inspector, Absent
Motion was made by Mr. Broyles to approve the minutes of the July 21, 1987 meeting.
Ms. Fickling made motion to approve. It was seconded. All ayes. Motion carried.
Discussion was opened on closed and pending cases. Officer Justice stated that the
only cases we have are cases under old business.
Mr. Broyles asked if there were any questions about any of the pending cases.
Mr. Broyles asked Officer Justice to proceed with the case of Michael Arnold.
Officer Justice stated that Michael Arnold was issued a written warning on July 9, 1987,
a violation of 44.85 paragraph 1. Officer Sonafelt gave Mr. Arnold until August 14,
1987 to come into compliance with the City Code, and she was notified that the problem
had been corrected. She went out and made a reinspection at approximately 3:00 p.m.
this afternoon, September 15, at which timeshe saw that the violation had been cleared.
Officer Justice recommended that we move to accept the fact that it is clear, and if
there are further complaints, they be will be taken before the Board.
Mr. Broyles asked if there were further questions. There were none.
Mr. Broyles entertained the motion that the case against Michael Arnold be dismissed.
Mr. Pieper moved that Michael Arnold be dismissed of the charges. Ms. Fickling
seconded the motion. All ayes. Motion carried.
Mr. Broyles asked if anyone had anything to bring before the Board.
Mr. Broyles made a motion to adjourn the meeting and Mr. Cerra seconded the motion.
All ayes.
Meeting adjourned at 7:09 P.M.
