Roll Call: James Dasher, Present Jay Alpert, Present Lawrence Cerra, Present Frank Broyles, Present Beverly Fickling, Present Bob Gray, Present Al Peiper, Present Brenda. Sonatel t, Code Inspector, Present Gerald Justice, Code Prosecutor, Present Motion was made by Mr. Alpert to approve the minutes of . Septarber 16, 1986. Seconded by Mr. Cerra. Discussion. Vote on the lOOtion: all aye;' lOOtion carried. The next meeting in January, 1987, Chainnan Dasher reminded the Board there would be an election of Chainnan. Discus::don of closed and pending cases - discussed. Officer Justice reported on the Eby Case. The skateboard structure at Mrs. Eby' s residence is now in canp1iance with Code 5.24 as of NovesIDer 14, 1986. The rmq> has been tom down. Mrs. Eby was in violation for 28 day~ at $25.00 per day fran October 17, 1986 to Novsnber 14, 1986, the fine aroounting to $700.00. Code Prosecutor Gerald Justice presented the case. ~tion was made by Mr. Alpert that Mr. Bogan is in violation of Sec. 44.81 of the Code of City of Winter Springs, parking a truck in excess of 3/4 ton in a residential area. Seconded by Mr. Cerra for discussion. Discussion. Vote on DDtion: Mr. Cerra, aye; Mr. Broyles, aye; Mrs. Fickling, aye; Mr. Gray, aye; Mr. Peiper, aye; Mr. Dasher, aye; Mr. Alpert,.; aye; DDtion carried. lwbtion was made by M':. Alpert that Mr. Bogan be fined at a rate of $50.00 per violation per day for every day that he is in violation of parking the truck in a residential area. Seconded by Mr. Cerra. ( Code Enforcement Board Meeting, Nova:nber 18, 1986 Page 2 M>tion was re-stated by Mr. Alpert that Mr. Bogan be fined $50.00 per day per violation of Sec. 44.81 of the City code, fine to take effect for each violation that occurs after the time that the Order of the Board is delivered to Mr. Bogan. Seconded by Mr. Cerra. Vote on mtion: Mr. Broyles, aye; Mrs. Fickling, aye; Mr. Gray, aye; Mr. Peiper, aye; Mr. Dasher, aye; Mr. Alpert, aye; Mr. Cerra, no; mtion carried. Jolm Otten - Sec. 44. 81 Mr. Otten or his representative were not present. Code Prosecutor Gerald Justice presented the case. Motion was made by Mr. Alpert that the Board find Mr. Jolm Otten in violation of Sec. 44.81 of City code of Winter Springs of parking a vehicle in excess of 3/4 ton in a residential district. Seconded by Mr. Cerra for discussion. Discussion. Vote on the mtion: Mrs. Fickling, aye; Mr. Gray, aye; Mr. Peiper, aye; Mr. Dasher, aye; Mr. Alpert, aye, Mr. Cerra, aye; Mr . Broyles, aye; m::>tion carried. M>tion was made by Mr. Alpert to issue an Order of the Board fining Mr. Otten $50.00 per day for every day there is a violation of 44.81 at his address. Seconded by Mr. Peiper. Vote on IlDtion: Mr. Gray, aye; Mr. Peiper, aye; Mr. Dasher, aye; Mr. Alpert, aye; Mr. Cerra, no; Mr. Broyles, aye; Mrs. Fickling, aye; lOOtion carried. ( J. 1. Kislak Mor a e Co . representative 0 J. . Justice presented the case. Motion was made by Mr. Broyles that the Board findJ. I. Kislak Mortgage Corp. in violation of Sec. 7-2 and 5-l49(c); of the code. Seconded by Mr. Alpert for discussion. Discussion. Vote on the IlDtion: Mr. Peiper, aye; Mr. Dasher, no; Mr. Alpert, aye; Mr. Cerra, aye; Mr. Broyles, aye; Mrs. Fickling, aye; Mr. Gray, aye; IlDtion carried. M>tion was made by Mr. Alpert that the Board issue an Order of the Board to J. I. Kislak Mortgage Corp., ten days to bring this residenCe in coopliance with Sec. 7-2 and 5-l49(c) of the City code or suffer fine of $25.00 a day for every day the violation exists thereafter.
