CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD MEETING
CITY OF WINTER SPRINGS
TUESDAY, JULY 16, 1985
The Code Enforcement Board Meeting was called to order by Chairman Jay Alpert.
Roll Call:
Marianne Cheeseman, present
Mike DePasquale, present
Jay Alpert, present
Ben Kaplan, present
Phil Kulbes, present
Thomas Dougherty, present
James Dasher, present
Code Inspector Barry Cook, present
Code Prosecutor Bob Butler, absent
Motion was made by Kulbes, seconded by Dougherty to approve the minutes of May 21,
1985 as presented. Vote: all aye; motion carried.
Discussion of pending cases - discussed.
Kriebel Case Update:
Code Board Chairman, Jay Alpert, explained that an Order of the Board was issued to
Mr. Kriebel. He was charged with failure to obtain a permit. Mr. Alpert said he
was informed by the office of the Code Inspector that Mr. Kriebel did obtain a
permit on the 13th of June. At this time there is no outstanding violation.
Mr. Alpert turned the gavel over to Vice Chairman Ben Kaplan. Mr. Kaplan discussed
the letter he received from Mr. Kriebel.
Motion was made by Mr. Kulbes that we send a letter to Mr. Kriebel notifying him
that since the permit has been obtained there is no violation of the building code
(Sec. 5-122), and the fence can remain in its position. Seconded by Mr. DePasquale.
Discussion. Vote on the motion: Mr. Kulbes, aye; Mr. Kaplan, aye; Mr. Dougherty, aye;
Mrs. Cheeseman, aye; Mr. DePasquale, aye; Mr. Dasher, aye; motion carried.
Motion was made by Mr. DePasquale, seconded by Mr. Kulbes to adjourn. Motion carried.
Meeting was adjourned at 7:28 p. m.
